Book at bedtime
I have returned to my first passion... each week as a child I was taken to the library and allowed to browse, and each week I headed straight for the same shelf... Jean Plaidy.
Having just finished the last page of The Thistle and The Rose this morning as I dried my hair I am totally gripped all over again. No wonder I love drama and romance. Jean Plaidy's masterly story telling and command of history just blows me away. Can't wait to start my next one, and I'm guessing I'll be reading this wonderful author's complete oeuvre, which as she was extremely prolific and wrote under several names, should keep me going for quite some time to come!
