Shoe forecast: gloomy

Now it's raining- rained off- my shoe search is rained off. (please imagine heart-wrenching sobs at this point)

And I can't find that pair I want in the right size. This happened to me last year so I bought a pair a size too small, which I then ended up giving to a friend. It took all my self-control not to scratch her eyes out each time I saw her proudly wearing them.

Can't do it again, girls. But I can see them, I can smell the soft black leather, and I can feel them caressing my feet. Nothing, nothing else will do. There is no comfort for me anywhere. Woe is me.

Aaargh!

Gazing despondently into the far distance where everyone but me is wearing fabulous shoes...

Dear Shoeless Sue (hmmm, that's sort of catchy).

I hope you manage to survive despite your dreadful disappointment. Just try and remember that tomorrow is another day and that somewhere, sometime when you least expect it, those glittery kitten heels with hand stitching the most adorable buckle you've ever seen will just pop up like magic and make your dreams come true.

Have a great time in the capital!

I can sympathize with you!

I feel for you...one of the hardest things to do is buy shoes that you like that don't hurt your feet. Good luck in finding some neato ones.

There willl be success, I found new green sandals today!! Huzzah!! You just have to believe!!!

As a shoe-a-holic, I can sympathise with your plight. But I need that cushion. Where did you get it?
