We're just off to celebrate sproglatina's b'day, as yes, she is a Yankee Doodle Dandee... a song, believe it or not, your truly once sang- complete with fishnet tights and top hat- on board the QE2. And yes, they paid me- these days they'd pay me not to. (How cruel the years can be to thighs once clothed in fishnet!!!)

And for no other reason than I love a good barbie with corn and tuna and salad and salmon and stuff, that's our photo for today.
