Covers

I hear what you're all saying... And btw, I don't hear of any plans to change the Australian covers- When I did my comparison at the library recently of one title with 3 covers... UK US and Australia, the audience thought the Australian cover was fantastic.
Regarding the library edition I posted yesterday I personally love the 'new' pink. I've posted my two most recent covers side by side so you can compare...
I also love the way the designer has incorporated the rose of romance and it helps to have such a good looking couple on the front... some of my men on the UK covers have looked very young and some... Well, some are...
Again, and this is only a personal opinion, I find views on covers interesting and they certainly tempt me to buy the book...
Eg The Rialto Bridge in Venice etc
As soon as I receive the paperback editions I will post those so we can see if there are any changes... but that will be in around 2 months time- and I'll have a lot to say before then, no doubt!!
Love to all, and happy reading everyone!
(and don't forget there's still time to enter my competition on www.accessromance.com All-A-Blog)

Of those two there's absolutely no doubt as to which I'd choose. The new one. It's far more modern looking and as you said, I love the rose.
To be honest, the one with the bridge doesn't attract me at all. I need people in the illustration otherwise I'll tend to pass it by. Unless, of course, I've already read the author and know that she turns out a good story, in which case I'm likely to pick it up regardless of whether there's a gorgeous hunk or a bloke with a spot on his nose on the cover. Or perhaps not the spot?

I like the new cover best too. I like ours in Australia because red seems to embody passion and it makes all the terrific tanned, sometimes semi-clad, bodies look even better!! I like the cover models to look pretty much like the description in the book. Just for a change I've been reading some Down Under Medicals - they're pink here, and they have strange covers. Not always the heroine, the hero always looks young and often there is just one person on the cover too.
I buy books based on the author, never what the cover looks like, so I guess I can't complain!!!
