Ourselves as others see us...
I thought it was time to introduce a touch of veritas into this year's family portrait and so I commissioned a famous artist- or should that be, artiste- to create a respectful rendering of yours truly and the sprogs.
Yes, of course DH is a sprog. How else would you describe a man?
Enjoy your chortle over coffee on this, the longest day of the year- and I'm going to need every minute of it for naughty Nico.
Back with more nuggets from Niroli tomorrow... and I'm told by my lovely ed that we pronounce Niroli... Ni-Row-Lie So, that's your first peep into this lush Mediterranean island- home to the richest (and naughtiest) royal family in the world.

Very nice portrait!! Your 'virtual walk' inspired me to make one with The Labradors!!! How exciting, I had NO IDEA how to pronounce Niroli - I was saying it to rhyme with Neroli - the girls' name!!!
I was pronouncing Niroli the same way as you until I got 'pulled up'!
