Hi Guys! Does this author ever do any work?!
Allow me to introduce you to yet another of my guardians!
The Frog.
The frog came about when I was trying to entertain a group of kids one summer and took them to our local 'paint a pot' shop. They got bored; I got hooked. Actually, I found it extremely restful. I also paint occasionally... may even show you one of those- though I ain't no great artist, ladies! But doing things with my hands like knitting or painting really calms me down, and that can't be a bad thing when you have red hair and Scorpio as your sun sign!
And as far as guardians go- don't let me even get started on the garden... having moved from a huge garden to a small one all those stone animals that used to hide discreetly in the undergrowth are now prominently displayed. I shall be known as 'that funny lady with a stone menagerie'.
Back tomorrow with some more peculiarities from the House of Susan
Love to all, and happy reading everyone!

When I was little, there was a lady who lived down the road with 3 or 4 cats. She probably wasn't that old, but we passed her house everyday on the way to school and I secretly named her "The Witchy Lady". Sigh! I expect now I am known as "The Strange Woman with all the Dogs"!!! It is a good thing that with age comes wisdom, understanding and a hide thicker than a hippopotamus!!! Whatever makes you happy!!! And I am happy you knit!!!! Knitting is very calming - well, if the pattern's going right!! I'm enjoying the tour!!!
Glad you like it!
I started knitting way back when I was a little girl when it was hard to teach me because I was left-handed.
The first thing I knit was a bedjacket for my mother on huge wooden needles ( a clever ploy by my teacher at school because it was soon completed)
After that I was hooked, and it really helped me in the theatre when there was much time in the dressing room waiting to 'go on'.
I knit several Aran cardigans one year- loved the cabling- hated the button band- it seemed to go on forever!
