A difficult day...
My most beautiful dog, my queen of dogs, Finlay-dog has to have an operation today- and at fourteen years old that isn't what you want for your faithful friend.
Fin is covered in lumps and bumps and one of them has lost circulation and started to ulcerate and so we have been left with no alternative but to have it removed.
I hate this. I hate leaving her at the vets when she doesn't understand what's happening, or why I'm going and leaving her behind.
I hope they're kind to her. And I hope I have some good news for you tomorrow.

I so feel for you and Finlay; here is to good results and a good day for you. Give Finlay a hug after the operation for me.
The Labradors and I are thinking of you all. I know that the doctors and nurses at the vet's will treat Finlay with great care, but still, I know how you feel...
I could never go to work if one of the Girls was at the vet. I couldn't function and even now I hover near the phone. I usually have a back up dog at home though!!!!
