Strange happenings...
At least in this house, where in 28 years my hisband has never cooked a meal. Yep, that's 28 years, gals! Which, to you young ones out there must seem like a criminal offence- after all, we both work full time, right?
Quite unexpectedly he announced that 'he was cooking' (could this be because I'm close to deadline, the fridge is empty and even the milk is sour?)
But what amazed me was that he dragged the 'Aga' book down from the shelf and cooked a full roast dinner- and it was fantastic.
So, you see they can do it!
And now I am happily contemplating a lifetime of idleness stretching ahead of me... what will I do with all that spare 'cooking time'?
Oh, did I mention that he's lying in bed just now while I cook breakfast?
I'll call him when it's ready- and of course, his newspaper will be waiting on the table...
I know... it's a generation thing!
