Couldn't post yesterday as pigged out on pleasure, which left me with barely enough strength to lie on my back and mewl like a contented kitten.

Fortunately, as dh was present, this pleasure took the form of mouth-smearing, taste-sensational chocolate coated profiteroles.

Spotting a giant-sized portion available on the menu for 'Those Who Dared' he ordered this behemoth of the pudding world for me.

I took it bravely, thinking of you dear friends as I tucked in...

Imagine if you will an over-sized soup bowl filled with around half a pint of cream upon which sat a profiterole mountain... perhaps 20 crispy golden globes stuffed with sweetened cream and then drizzled with hot chocolate sauce.

I battled bravely and scoffed the lot- well, perhaps I left one or two, but I was sure to scrape the chocolate off.
