Feeling tense...
The estate agent started me off, ringing up just now to ask if someone could come and view the cottage... I suddenly realised, I don't want to sell. Well, not suddenly... the other day I was playing the piano, which is situated in front of one of our windows overlooking the main street in the village, when a pleasant-looking couple wandered past holding a brochure. Go away, go away!!! I thought uncharitably. The cottage doesn't want you to live here...
Perhaps dh is right about the spirits of the cottage not wanting to let me go?!
Seriously, I do feel quite desperate about it sometimes. But then I am a Scorpio (water sign), and I do have a lovely stream running through my garden... where am I ever going to replicate that?
And also- and I'm sure all of you who have had a house on the market will recognise this... I have had so many 'time-wasters' round. Nosey-parkers who just want to 'take a look'. As this latest would-be trespasser hadn't even put their house on the market (Reminder to self: ask those questions before you agree to anything too readily, Susan) I felt justified in saying, let them at least get an offer on their own house before coming back...
And then I have around sixty pages to go before I finish this month's book, and I have taken the H and h so far apart I'm not sure I can get them back together in time. They've got so much to work out between them yet... Is 60 pages enough?
Ah, well, I suppose love will find a way. (I just hope I can!!)
I feel better already, just writing to you- so love to all, and happy reading everyone!
Susan
