Dark clouds...
Apart from those building in the sky, my old doggy is not feeling too well right now. She's find our usual yomp through the countryside too much and I have had to find a shorter route, or by the time we reach the village street we've slowed to a crawl.
This morning I found she had been sick in the night, and at the moment she is sitting beneath my desk not wanting to move- even when I get up to make a cup of tea, which is a bad sign.
I shall see how she gets on as the day progresses... don't want to call the vet in too soon as she is almost fourteen and I'm not sure I'd want to hear what he has to say. She isn't in any pain- not panting etc, so I'm going to hold on and hope...
On a brighter note, rose early yesterday so I could work before meeting 'Steam Clean Val' for one of our infrequent, but hugely enjoyable lunches. Had a laugh, as we always do, and hit the sales... successfully, I'm pleased to say.
Today it's back to tidying up 'Venice' before submitting it to my ed' on the 8th August.
