Inspiration...
By far the most frequently asked question I receive is: From where do you get your inspiration, Susan?
Ask dh, who caused my- by now, almost blunt- paper scissors to hover above what remained of the Sunday newspapers this morning.
Yes, go and get yours now, retrieve them from the guinea pig cage, the stack on the floor, or the recycle bin... I promise you, you'll find at least a dozen ideas right there.
Now, don't just think- as I did for years- what a good idea, I'll remember that... Because you won't. Cut it out right now- even if you have to snatch the paper out of dh's hands, and then put your cutting away somewhere safe.... And by that I mean in a file neatly labelled, newspaper cutting of interest. Or, if you've got to my hoarding horrible stage- in a file marked 'Italian heroes' etc etc
