Discoveries...
My latest?
The weekend.
Walking dogs... very slowly, to accord with their elderly status.
Later, walk with ds... briskly, to accord with the fact that there is champagne chilling in the fridge.
It's great- no sprogs, no work... therefore I prepared nibbles, including ciabatta with tomato and anchovies- my favourite, and put champagne flutes into the freezer to mist up, and hey presto!When we returned from our walk- self-indulgent bliss.
What did we eat for lunch? Why, a cream cake I made yesterday-
When the sprogs are away there is no longer any need to pretend that the future hangs on a good roast dinner!
We might just start on the chocolate later...
