Gifts...
I don't know about you, but I think there's something really special about giving a gift of food- particularly if the food has been prepared by the person giving that gift...
The lovely mother of the LFG (Sprog Minor's Lovely French Girlfriend) sent over some pickles for my party and also some wonderful jam of several types.
Just imagining those apricots ripening in the mellow French sunshine adds to my breakfast experience... and then thinking of this lovely French woman in her kitchen watching over the bubbling pot-
Excuse me, just had to go and make some toast for my yummy jam! But I'm back again now...
