Chocolated out!
Yum, yum...
Today we have to eat as much chocolate as we can- suits me!
The size of my daughter's Easter Egg- provided by new boyfriend- took first prize this year- settled into a wicker basket adorned with ribbons it was loaded with chocolate bunnies and chicks, and chocs and fake flowers and more ribbons- and in the centre of all that- an absolutely mammoth chocolate egg.
I noticed she ate mine while we were only allowed to gaze wide-eyed and dribbling at her monster egg...
The spring flowers are all out in the garden, and there is palest pink blossom on the trees. Mr and Mrs Duck have been on patrol again to scope out the stream just to make sure it's safe for this year's ducklings, and we have already got the yellow wagtails bustling about outside my study window. It's really quite warm and sunny- almost no-coat weather, but not quite.
I hope you all had a peaceful and happy holiday, and wish you much joy as we move into this new and warmer part of the year.
